This is my first experience with a full sized hardcover planner. It is really nice to have a firm surface to write on at all times as I tend to use my planners outside a lot!
So to my surprise, there is a ton of room in this planner. It features a tab for each page of each month. I love the pages called Areas of Focus full of suggestions I find as a coach are thoughtful prompts many I use regularly as a coach. So it’s like a coach in your planner.
The daily pages are arranged vertically in weekly view and have hourly sections as well as priority, gratitude, goal and note sections. I find I am using the hourly section as a To Do List and a Did It List, and highlight or circle the hour for actual events as my business calendar is online I don’t need hourly breakdowns in my planner and can get by simply listing my appointments and times so I tend to repurpose this type of set up but I like using it as a list for brain dumps and To Do items and I also write in things I have done with my time even if they were not on that day’s to-do list.
I also enter personal events and appointments in the monthly calendar view so I can see my month at a glance.
There are blank pages for mindmaps and drawings and pages for Goals and Masterlists as well as beautiful illustrations.
This planners front and back cover feels soft to the touch, it has padding feeling quilted and the soft vinyl can be wiped clean.
I know I am going to love planning in my new planner and I have already filled in goal and mindmap pages. My only criticism is that the metal coiled binding is bigger than I think it need be and at the very least should be coated lighter weight wire. That is just a personal preference but I have no doubt that this will hold up extremely well over the year. I already know that I will want to repurpose the covers as they are so beautiful and a perfect reminder to follow your dreams and believe in yourself!
